Wait what?!

Hey guys! It's been a while since a true update! So basically, here's what's happening! Besides working, snuggling Julia's 6 adorable puppies, making a quick trip home for Easter and bringing Dahlia back with me, and somehow managing to still find time to hang with friend's and do things with Lucky, I have this AWESOME opportunity! As probably most of you know I went to the Today Show back in December http://newlifenewbeginnings2014.blogspot.com/2015/01/the-today-show.html This was to help with a shoot for the upcoming announcement that the Today Show would be raising a "Puppy with a Purpose". Since then, my friend Saxon, has welcomed Wrangler into her home to raise for the next year and a half, besides doing the normal puppy raising things at home she also has committed to driving from Yorktown Heights to NYC Monday-Friday to be on the set of the Today Show from 6:30AM-11AM. Obviously occasionally Saxon will have something come up where she won't be able to go one morning, or take a vacation day, or get sick, so she needed a fill in. Enter ME! That's right, I was asked if I would want to get trained so that I could fill in for her if need be. Of course I said YES because what a fun and amazing opportunity this is!!!! I went last week to train for the day and SUCCESSFULLY DROVE INTO NEW YORK CITY! (I know! Crazy right?!) Now this week I will be going on the 21st to train and then I will be driving myself and Wrangler to fill in for Saxon on the 23rd! Now, there is no guarantee that I will be seen on the show, and quite frankly, I don't think I actually want to be filmed and be seen all over the United States (GASP!) but you may glimpses of me when they go to film in the Orange Room since that is where I will be standing with Wrangler.
Also, April 29th is International Guide Dog Day so you should watch the Today Show again because Lucky and I will be joining my Regional Manager Kate, another Regional Manager Nicole, and a few other local raisers and we will be going to the Today Show Plaza for several fun things that will be happening on the plaza in celebration of International Guide Dog Day. Again, no guarantee that Lucky and I will be seen on TV, but you might want to watch it just in case! :)

Here are some photos from last week when I was there training with Wrangler.

Until next time!
