Goodbyes are not forever, goodbyes are not the end, they simply mean I'll miss you until we meet again...

I dropped off Puppy Number 9 on Friday, it always catches me of guard how quickly IFT time comes up! And specifically with Edlyn it seem to come very VERY quickly! I wrote this on my other blog and if you go there you can see other photos.

Well, Edlyn is now in the kennel in Yorktown. I may not have cried, but my heart is still broken. So to my dear, sweet, Edlyn I have this for you.

To the puppy that no one wanted, but I fell in love with and wasn't suppose to keep, but ended up finishing, thank you.

Thank you for teaching me how important it is to remember that not every one (or every dog) is the same.

Thank you for teaching me to take time to do things slowly and stop and smell the roses. 

Thank you for teaching me that there's always time to show love to others.

And most importantly, thank you for being that puppy I could always count on to come and snuggle with me and hold me when I cried.

I'll miss you, but now you're off to do great things and show someone else what it means to be loved by a four legged dog.
